Welcome

A little about me. I am a former TV news reporter and web producer who has always loved writing. I wrote poems in elementary school, short stories in high school, then novels as an adult.

She lived in New Castle, PA from childhood until senior high school when she and her family moved to Yellow Springs, OH. She is the cousin of legendary children's book author, the late Virginia Hamilton, also from Yellow Springs.

After high school, she graduated from Wright State University with a degree in Journalism. She became a part time newspaper reporter for the Dayton Daily News, then went on to television as a reporter for several local stations across the country. Later Faith became the first Web producer for msnbc.com and subsequently Interactive Executive Producer at Discovery Health Channel (formerly owned by Discovery Channel).

Faith received her master's degree in project management from The George Washington University School of Business in Washington, DC and spent the remainder of her career as a project manager.

Faith's first book was featured on NBC4 Washington, Good Day Atlanta and The Tom Joyner Morning Show.

My Writing Journey

I won't spend too much time on this except to say that my road to fiction writing has been long. After I graduated from high school I barely wrote anything and it wasn't until I was married that I began publishing my work.

I started with non-fiction since it seemed inline with my profession. I wrote a dating book and then a project management book, followed by a cookbook. A few years later I wrote a fiction novel at the urging of a friend and fellow writer.  It was not very good of course and over the years I have learned many things to help perfect my craft.

Now I am happy to say I am very comfortable with my writing style and often share the things I've learned with aspiring writers.

Much of that I will share here but mostly I want to get to know you and what kind of books you enjoy.

I want to bounce ideas off you and share my musings about my latest book idea.

I write in the 'what if' realm so many of my novels have been based on a possibility of what could be or might have been.

So I look forward to an interchange and maybe we can learn something from eachother.
